Our family’s journey with pediatric cannabis began in February 2013 when our then three-year-old son was diagnosed with intractable epilepsy. At his worst he could have upwards of 75 seizures a day while taking anti-epileptic drugs. Over time it was looking like he may have Doose Syndrome and he failed his second medication. With a less than 7% chance that any medication combination would help him, we began looking into alternatives. In December 2013 he was fortunate to be one of the first 20 clients of the Realm of Caring, CA and was able to try their high CBD concentrated oil, Charlotte’s Web. Within 8 weeks, our son went seizure free and next month he will have been so for one year. If you are the parent of a child with intractable epilepsy, you know how miraculous this is.

To celebrate our son’s one year anniversary of seizure freedom and all the successes of all the families in our community, Flying Panther Tattoo is hosting a fundraiser for the Realm of Caring, CA. If you are curious to learn more about pediatric cannabis, this event is for you!

We have a fun day planned, including $100 tattoos by internationally known tattoo artists, screen printing t-shirts with the Roots Factory and music by Radio Pulso del Barrio. You will also have the opportunity to network with other local families using pediatric cannabis and meet Ray Mirzabegian, the director of the Realm of Caring, CA.
